Differences / the clash is a theatrical production that encourages self-reflection through the use of metaphors and images in an effort to encourage new pathways of thinking in our complicated modern reality. The creative team, a collective personally inspired by this theme, hopes to take the audience on an adventure that far surpasses the ordinary. A step towards social change.
The first stage is a theatrical piece centered on the shock or clash of difference within our society, and the second stage is a Playback
theatre performance. Playback is an improvised form of theatre in which stories from the audience are heard and then theatrically retold by members of the troupe. In other words, the Playback theatre element will open and share the dialogue with the audience to hopefully create new paths of reflection.
En premier lieu, il y a la représentation théâtrale qui se centre sur le choc des différences dans notre société, qui sera suivi d’une rencontre de théâtre Playback. C’est alors que les histoires des spectateurs seront entendues et improvisées par les acteurs déjà présents sur scène. En d’autres termes, ces derniers proposeront leur vision du thème pour ensuite donner la parole au spectateur, afin de susciter de nouvelles pistes de réflexion.
